Woman Tries To Rescue Injured Mustang, But Immediately Calls 911 When She Sees What He Is Guarding
The story starts below

I was jogging near the ridge when I saw an injured mustang lying low, clearly in pain but oddly still.
Instead of fleeing, he stayed curled around something, what looked like a torn piece of cloth. Curious and concerned, I stepped closer.
He didn’t move. I expected debris… but then the cloth shifted, like it was alive. I grabbed my phone and called 911, but all I could say was, “
HURRY UP, I’ve never seen something like this!” And that wasn’t even the worst part…
Waiting Anxiously

I could hear the sirens in the distance, growing louder as they approached. I nervously shifted from foot to foot, glancing from the mustang to the road, wishing they'd hurry.
The horse was breathing heavily, clearly stressed, and I felt helpless just standing there. I wanted to comfort it, but something told me to keep my distance.
'They’ll be here soon,' I murmured, trying to reassure both the creature and myself.
A Closer Look

The mustang was jittery, its ears twitching each time the cloth moved. I whispered to it soothingly, 'Hey, it’s okay. Help is coming.
' My eyes were glued to the strange fabric, trying to make sense of it. It moved again, more deliberately this time, and I could swear I saw tiny fingers poking through.
A mix of fear and curiosity kept me rooted to the spot, torn between wanting to help and fearing what I'd find.
Help Arrives

The wail of the sirens finally cut off as a paramedic truck pulled up, followed by a police car. A tall man, introduced as Jake, rushed toward me, his medical bag swinging at his side.
'What’s going on here?' he asked, eyes wide at the sight. The police, led by a stern-looking woman named Officer Lisa, weren't far behind.
'Stay calm, folks,' she announced, eyeing the mustang with a mix of caution and disbelief.
Puzzled Questions

Lisa approached me with a puzzled expression. 'Can you tell me what you saw?' she asked while glancing at the bundle hidden by the mustang.
I explained how I found the horse and the strange cloth. Her brow furrowed. 'And you haven’t touched it?' she clarified. I shook my head.
'I thought it might hurt him, or whatever it's guarding,' I replied, my eyes drifting back to the mysterious fabric in question.
